See the Czech capital from Prague's oldest lookout tower - the water tower from the early 17th century. You can find it on the right bank of the Vltava River on the site of the former Nové Mlýny (New Mills), which stood here as early as the 14th century.
The tower was used to supply the lower part of Prague's New Town with water from the Vltava River. It served its original purpose until 1877.
In addition to the panoramic views, there is also a modern exhibition Prague on Fire! which will take you - through multimedia elements (video mapping, animation, video art, virtual reality) - into the heart of the burning National Theatre or give you a glimpse into the future of Prague. You’ll be acquainted with the role of water towers, the theme of fire or tales of Prague firefighters.
