The most intriguing photo showcases actor Morgan Freeman sitting on the lap of the executive director of the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, with this year's guests including Viggo “Aragorn” Mortensen and Clive Owen. In this striking image, Freeman appears in the middle of a hotel room, giving the illusion of having four legs.
Tono Stano is renowned for his black-and-white portraits and figurative work. He has been a long-time collaborator with the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, creating an extensive series of portraits of international film personalities.
A total of 70 images are on display at the exhibition in the Art Nouveau Sparkasse palace in Karlovy Vary, a resort in West Bohemia Spa Triangle. The town is famous for its healing springs, the popular golf resort, and the luxurious Grandhotel Pupp, where even James Bond sat in the film Casino Royale.
