To the summit of Kralický Sněžník
Králický Sněžník: hiking to the source of the Morava River
Hike up to the very “roof of Europe” – the Králický Sněžník range. Along the way you will admire the beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and also rare plant species. From the top of Králický Sněžník, with an altitude of 1,424 m, in good weather you can spot the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, Sněžka, and also the highest mountain in the Hrubý Jeseník range, Praděd. Below the mountain summit the Morava River rises in a modified well. Follow the descent of the most important Moravian river, whose upper course forms the historical border between Bohemia and Moravia, and see how the stream gradually gains strength.
