The Wine Festival in Bzenec, a city renowned for its wine Bzenecká lipka, goes back to one of the oldest celebrations of its kind in Moravia. Enjoy testing hundreds of wines and fermented wines, folk groups and cymbal music out in the open, entertaining shows, children’s theater performances and exhibitions. The culmination of the celebration is a festive costume parade on Saturday afternoon, where in addition to performing ensembles you will see aristocratic ladies, the god Bacchus with nymphs, horse teams and costumed youth.
