Enjoy some exercise at the Radon Spa Jáchymov

The season’s new attraction is the Ore Mountains Special, a 5-night half-board stay that includes entry to a salt cave, the sauna and the swimming pool, a partial massage, a Thai massage and a tour of the Astoria mine. During your stay you’ll receive a Karlovy Vary Region Card, which makes it easier for you to discover the most attractive sights in the Karlovy Vary Region.

As part of its wellness stays the spa offers a lavish and entertaining range of activities for all the family. Stays include admission to the swimming pool, miniature golf, and the loan of Nordic walking poles.

The spa has plenty of treatments to choose from, from pearl and carbonic baths to aromatherapy massages and oxygen therapy.

Get yourself moving with some sport

In nearby Plešivec you’ll find a unique bobsleigh track, with beautiful views as you ride down. Or head out for a trip and explore the beautiful scenery of the Ore Mountains on your bike! You can hire e-bikes from the information centre in the Astoria Hotel, which, like other hotels, also has a place to store your bikes. If you decide to take an easy cable car ride up to Klínovec, you can enjoy a wide range of biking trails at the Trail Park Klínovec. If you fancy a swim in an outdoor pool, try Ostrov nad Ohří (4 km) or Karlovy Vary (20 km).

Excellent cuisine – à la carte lunches and buffet dinners – can be found at the U Vodopádu restaurant in the Astoria Hotel. You won’t be disappointed by the other spa hotels, either, of course. You can also enjoy a delicious meal at the U Jezírka Forest Restaurant and Guest House.
