The monumental building of the Spa House which has since the beginning of the 20th century borne the name Spa III, offers traditional spa treatment, modern spa procedures, important cultural events, noble architecture and the legacy of the ancestors.
If you feel that the architecture of Spa III reminds you of something, you are right. The majestic building was designed in the style of early historicism and, most of all, it resembles British architecture. That may be one of the reasons why it currently harbours a hotel called Windsor, which accommodates spa visitors. Since its inception, the Spa House has been the centre of most therapeutic procedures but it also served as the music centre for Karlovy Vary. This role has stuck with the Spa III to this day and you have the unique chance to find out for yourself by visiting for instance one of the concerts of the Karlovy Vary Symphonic Orchestra, which regularly plays in the ceremonial Antonín Dvořák Concert Hall.
