Klenová Castle and Château – an open-air gallery
Near Klatovy in the Plzeň region, in West Bohemia, you will find the ruins of a medieval castle. A Neo-Gothic château was annexed to it in the 19th century.
It is an area where visitors can learn about architectural changes over the centuries. However, another peculiarity and the main attraction of the château are the regularly held exhibitions of contemporary Czech artists, graphic designers and photographers. You can admire the art of nature from the Klenová Castle scenic viewpoints, which offer amazing views of the Šumava National Park.
