The reconstruction of the former 170-year-old Becherovka factory has created a unique tourist area in the very centre of Karlovy Vary. Its appearance evokes the atmosphere of an ancient square from the 19th century. Where Becherovka matured over the last few decades, today there is a restaurant and the Karel IV Brewery.
Much of the original cellar equipment has been used in these premises. Here you can sit on comfortable chairs made from the wood of old barrels and warm yourself by the heater, for which the stainless steel pipes of Becherovka were used. The whole restaurant is a clever use of the original spaces, which look as if they were always intended for gastronomic purposes.

In the Karel IV. restaurant you will find a lunch menu every weekday, but also other dishes not only from our grandmothers' cookbooks. Of course, there is a full range of beers from the Karel IV Brewery, which you can peruse while sitting in the restaurant.
