Valaška Trail – Pustevny
An above-ground panoramic treetop trail adorns the Beskydy resort of Pustevny
The wooden treetop walkway with a lookout tower, located at the top station of the Pustevny cableway, is called the Valaška Trail. The trail includes the only rope suspension boardwalk in the Czech Republic and the longest skywalk in Europe. There is a unique glass lookout point that evokes the feeling of floating in air. Visitors can enjoy moments in the tree tops, with beautiful views of the Beskydy mountain range. Children can enjoy interactive and educational nooks where they can rest, or a trampoline playground.

Pustevny
At 1018m above sea level and wedged between two peaks called Radohšť and Tanečnice, Pustevny is the most popular tourist centre in the Beskids. Pustevny gets its name from the hermits (“poustevníci” in Czech) who once inhabited this landscape. They were seeking a place far from civilisation; the last of them passed away in 1874. In the summer Pustevny is an attractive destination for hikers discovering this wonderful area; in wintertime it serves as a well-known skiing centre.
