Villa Chaloupka demonstrates that even with a financially limited budget a house that will become a cultural monument can be built.
The cottage was converted from a former cookery house from 1851. The architect carried out these renovations at his own expense for his friend, the new spa manager Cyril Holuby. The walled part of the log extension is separated by a strip of rough brick. The building is heavily inspired by Carpathian architecture and today also serves as accommodation for spa guests.
