Ruprechtov Windmill
The windmill with the unique Halladay turbine at the edge of Ruprechtov near Brno is a technical cultural monument. The mill was built in 1873 as a standard Dutch-type mill, with a four-blade windmill and a rotating roof. After a windstorm, the owner installed the Halladay turbine instead of the standard windmill: it is unique not only in Czechia, but also in Europe. Today, the turbine turns at a height of 16 metres above the ground, it has a diameter of 10 metres and weighs about 2 tonnes.

The dark tunnels in Znojmo
The dark tunnels under the old town of Jihlava represent the second largest labyrinth of underground passages in the Czech Republic after Znojmo. In the deepest parts, corridors lead 13 meters below the surface. However, the catacombs of Jihlava (Iglau) are famous for a luminous corridor, which lies at a depth of 11 meters.
