Set out on a walk around the modern architecture of the Moravian capital and experience the First-Republic atmosphere of Brno. Walk from the most famous Villa Tugendhat past Villa Stiassni all the way to the Brno Exhibition Grounds.
On the way, you can have a rest in Cafe Era designed by the architect Josef Kranz, which was built during the same period when Mies van der Rohe came to Brno to supervise construction of the villa for the Tugendhats, and which is in fact near the famous villa. In its heyday, the authentically reconstructed Era was known as a gem among cafes in Brno. Enjoy a coffee on one of the two terraces or try one of the dishes from the daily menu – emphasis is of course placed on high quality ingredients here.
