Haban Wine Cellars Velké Bílovice
Go to the places where the 400-year-long history of Moravian winemaking breathes. Take a tour of the cellars founded by the Habans - a group of reformist New Baptists, peaceful and forward-thinking people. During the tour with wine tasting, you will visit both the original Haban cellar and the modern wine cellar. The site also includes a caravan campsite.

The Haban Cellars (Habánské sklepy) winery was founded in 1614 in Velké Bílovice, a traditional Moravian wine-growing village, at the time of the greatest boom of winemaking in South Moravia.

About Habans

The founders of the winery were the Habans, a group of New Baptists who lived a very simple life in their communities. They were very particular about education, so their children spent most of their time in 'boarding schools'. They built several wine cellars in the Czech territory. Today, the Habánské sklepy winery is located in the largest one.

Wine cellar tours

Come and find out more about these people on year-round tours of the cellars, during which you will of course also taste Haban wine. In the wine shop, you will find popular wines, but also exceptional vintage wines that you can't taste anywhere else.

The site also includes a campsite for caravans (Stellplatz).
