ANNOVINO Winery Lednice

Enjoy wine tastings, picnics and tours of the year-round family-run winery that processes grapes from a unique terroir with limestone bedrock from prehistoric seas. You can come here in a canoe! The winery includes not only a unique labyrinth of historic wine cellars Valtice Underground or a campsite for caravans but also a marina on the so-called Moravian Amazon river.

The owners of the ANNOVINO winery collected local shell limestone for years in their own vineyards and in the surrounding area to build a unique winery building for visitors. According to experts, the fossils are up to 20 million years old! The walls are built the old-fashioned way with no joints. You can enjoy the wine not only in the beautiful interior but also in the garden or under the pergola. And afterward, you can see an exhibition of historical wine-making equipment and a display of fossilised animals.

You can come to the winery in a canoe on the Zámecká Dyje nicknamed Moravian Amazon river from the centre of Lednice, home to the largest landscape park in the world registered by UNESCO. Or come along the river on a scooter. Boats and scooters can be rented at the SUNDISK Family rental service.

The complex includes a campsite for caravans, the so-called Stellplatz.
