The Reduta Jazz Club has been a legendary venue combining great music, fresh entertainment and history. Soon after opening, Reduta became a popular venue for all jazz lovers and it is still so today. Come and be enchanted by the unique atmosphere!
Since 1958, when the first jazz musicians came to Reduta, a plethora of Czech and foreign stars have taken the stage, for example Emil Viklický, Martin Kratochvíl, Jiří Stivín, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Dee Dee Bridgewater or B. B. King.

At the end of the 80s, Reduta was one of the centres of the "Velvet Revolution", one of the places influencing new artistic and political culture. At the beginning of 2016 it was listed by The Guardian as one of the Top Ten Jazz Clubs in Europe.

Many streams and directions of jazz music are represented in the daily live programme - traditional jazz, Dixieland, jazzrock, soul, swing and modern jazz. The club is regularly visited by artists, diplomats politicians, as well as tourists from all over the world. After all, it was here that Bill Clinton spontaneously joined in with his saxophone part during his visit.
