The Glass Art Center and the original renovated Glassworks František from 1835 are located in the newly reconstructed part of the town Sázava. Its aim is to preserve the Czech tradition of glass manufacture.
The Glass Art Center offers glass workshops, various expositions of glass products, a gallery and other cultural events. An extensive collection presents individual glass technologies from incense technology, painting and grinding to polishing and sanding glass. In 2010 it was registered on the list of the cultural heritage of the Czech Republic.
