One of the best golf courses in the Czech Republic lies near the town of Kácov, an hour away from Prague towards east. Three unique nine-hole golf courses of the Panorama Resort are set in the charming countryside of the Posázaví area.
All three courses can be combined in any way during play. The River 9 runs along River Sázava and delights with numerous picturesque water surfaces and the view of rock masses. Players can take risks with shorter holes or attempt an eagle or birdie. The Forest 9 holes are set in grown trees and have an elevation gain of several metres. The place offers unique views of the countryside and Kácov. The Meadows course is spread on the meadows, with typical open spaces and longer holes.
The unique club house is remarkable; it was declared the 2017 Building of the Year of the Central Bohemian Region. The restaurant in the club house mostly focuses on Czech cuisine with a modern twist. They use locally sourced ingredients as much as possible, including their own organic products from the Kozojedy Farm, and cheeses and smoked meats from local farmers. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner à la carte from seasonal as well as weekly menus. You can stay overnight in the club house building. There are ten double rooms with a view of the golf course, and four studios with extra bed and a view of River Sázava valley.
“During my first visit, I only made it to the large chipping and to the club house, where they make great scrambled eggs. Twenty-seven holes at three completely different courses, that is a temptation and challenge for everyone,” says Klára Spilková, a Czech golf star.
