Relaxed atmosphere and clean air

The Klíny Sports Complex is spread across the ridges of the Krušné Mountains, east of the centre of the village of Klíny at an altitude of 720 m, not far from the Czech-German border. The past few years have seen a large number of innovations, transforming Klíny into the most modern sports complex in the eastern part of the Krušné Mountains. Klíny’s location and altitude ensure that excellent, enduring levels of snow are guaranteed, making it, chiefly in winter, a popular and sought-after destination for excursions with children.

Winter fun and games

In winter, visitors can look forward to expanded, extended pistes of both easy and difficult levels, a new four-seater ski lift with a step-on carpet and three modernised ski tows. Some of the pistes are floodlit for evening skiing. One major attraction of the complex is the floodlit snow park, with plenty of barriers.

The complex also includes a children’s area, rental and service for skis, snowboards and cross-country skis, a ski and snowboarding school and, of course, refreshments and social facilities.

Cross-country skiers can choose from more than 50 marked trails in the Klíny Sports Complex. These form part of the 250 km long Krušné Mountains White Trails, stretching across the ridges and sides of the alpine zone and connecting to further tens of kilometres of cross-country routes in neighbouring Germany.

Summer at Klíny

The Klíny complex is in operation all year round. In the summer, the ski lift takes hikers and cyclists with mountain bikes up to the ridges of the Krušné Mountains. In Klíny you can rent mountain scooters and descend the pistes via several routes of varying difficulty, from headfirst races downhill to laid-back family outings. The complex also includes an artificial, multi-purpose playing-field, a tennis court, forest walkway and climbing wall, crazy golf course and a trampoline. Accommodation and catering is offered by several mountain hotels and chalets, for example the Hotel Emeran, with a restaurant, Finnish-style sauna, jacuzzi and fitness centre. Visitors also have at their disposal year-round a sports hall with climbing wall.
