Three Bobsleigh Tracks

HappyWorld Harrachov Bobsleigh Track  

The bobsleigh track in Harrachov, in the highest Czech mountains of Krkonoše, is 1,000 metres long, has an elevation of 38 metres, the maximum grade of 12%, seventeen turns and two attractive intersections above the ground. The rides can be enjoyed alone or in pairs and the lighting makes it possible to enjoy a ride in the evening and in winter. The whole track is the first one in the Czech Republic to be heated. You can regulate your speed and style using a highly efficient brake, which makes the ride an unusual and exceptionally attractive experience. The entire track follows the safety regulations, certified not only under EU regulations, but also under TÜV. It is absolutely safe when all the operating regulations are observed, which makes it possible for children to enjoy it as well. 

After you get off at the finish station, you can relax in the adjacent forest park with benches and the Water World. There is a flow stream with water gates, a forest pond, and a grassy area for relaxation. The park also includes the large rope climbing MonkeyPark, where everyone who is at least 140 cm tall can test their abilities on 29 obstacles. You can also find the first Czech shoe tree there - it is a tree where every visitor can hang their old shoes and get a free ride on the bobsleigh track. The bobsleigh track in Harrachov is another attractive project in the Krkonoše Mountains that is a part of the HappyWorld. 

Janov nad Nisou Bobsleigh Track  

Visit the local bobsleigh track in the mountainous village of Janov nad Nisou amidst the beautiful countryside of the Jizera Mountains, an attractive all-year destination of family or school trips. The 900-metre-long ride has 22 turns. There is a unique carousel where the bobsleigh turns by 450 degrees. You can ride alone or with a friend and the comfortable bobsleigh is easy to control and equipped with an efficient brake.  

The bobsleigh track area includes a restaurant with 48 indoor seats and 80 outdoor seats on a large terrace with a barbecue and a smoke house. In addition to the ideal position and good food, visitors will also appreciate the children’s playground, the mini zoo, trampolines, and other fun stuff.   

Bobsleigh Track – Obří sud Javorník  

The area of Obří sud Javorník in Jeřmanice, near the regional town of Liberec, offers many leisure, sport, and adrenalin activities. In addition to the fun bobsleigh track, you will also find a snow park, a ski park, tracks for ski cross, bicross, grass skiing, and a four-seat chair lift.  

The bobsleigh rack is 1,100 metres long and it is one of the longest tube bobsleigh tracks in the Czech Republic. On the way down, there are 13 large turns, many smaller turns, and artificial waves. The two-seat bobsleigh is equipped with a centrifugal brake that does not permit a speed higher than 45 km per hour, a comfortable backrest, and a safety belt. Thanks to that, all age categories can enjoy a ride, children from the age of eight can ride on their own, children up to the age of eight have to be accompanied by parents. The track also includes an electronic timekeeping that enhances each ride and motivates to organise races.
