Villa Bílek in Prague

The building is steeped in the symbolism of a rye field. The rounded floor plan is meant to recall a scythe through a wheat field, with the columns representing sheaves of ears and the flat roof the field. You will discover motifs of ears in the interior on carved doors, forged handles and the furniture. Inside you can have a look at a standing exhibition and Bílek’s studio.
