The Wallachian Court represents a marvellous combination of several styles of architecture. This is also typical for other houses in Český Krumlov.
The recently reconstructed building, originally from 16th century, was built by merging several Gothic houses. The fact that each of its three front facades leads into a different street gives you an idea of its remarkable size. After 1580, the house was home to Jakub Krčín of Jelčany, designer and founder of South Bohemian fish ponds. Today there is a restaurant and a café and also a concert hall.
