The basis of the three-day folk festival in the picturesque village of Holašovice, located in the charming countryside of South Bohemia not far from České Budějovice, is the folk fair. You can have a look at traditional and nontraditional arts and crafts from the Czech Republic and abroad on a large village square surrounded by beautiful rustic farmhouses. You can buy a variety of products made of ceramics, leather, wicker, bobbin lace, woven garments and more. Children will find here creative art workshops where they can try stamping various motifs on t-shirts and bags, or making necklaces, decorating gingerbread and forging objects on the anvil. The event is accompanied by a full-day cultural program.
