Music Pavilion in Luhačovice
For relaxation, as well as for concerts in the small Art nouveau gazebo
The Music Pavilion is especially used in the summer season – another of the twelve-folk Art Nouveau buildings, which in Luhačovice, was successfully completed by the architect Dušan Jurkovič.
The small building looking as if it stood on chicken legs, a floating roof held aloft by subtle wood support beams (originally bright colors) was previously located at the square Lázeňské náměstí next to the Jurkovič House. It was then moved next to the Jestřábí Spa House. At one time an orchestra played in the gazebo every day. Today it is used for concerts in summer only, otherwise it is used for relaxation by vacationing visitors.
