Building No. 127, where the Paseka bookstore and secondhand store is, can be recognized from a distance.
The red facade, evoking the color of blood, is decorated with sgraffito woodcarvings from Bloody Novel (Krvavý román) by Joseph Váchal, a remarkable artist who is connected with Litomyšl through his work. After all, it's not a coincidence that Paseka bookstore carries the name of the main character of Váchal’s Bloody Novel. In addition to a secondhand store and bookstore, Pension Paseka with the literary cellar pub Na Sklípku is also located in the building.
