In 1892, the inn was founded and operated by Mr. František Klimeš - an innkeeper and butcher. As was customary, the trade was inherited from father to son, and this was the case until the tragic year 1941, when Mr. F. Klimeš became a victim of the Nazi horror. Since his only successor, his son Jaroslav, was only two years old, his widow, Mrs. Marie Klimeš, took over the management of the inn.
At the time when our country was being transformed into a socialist country, the pub knew many other innkeepers, only the outdoor sign never changed its name. It was only on the threshold of the 1990s that the establishment returned to its rightful owner, and it remains so to this day.
If we look inside the inn, we can see the stage, which served not only the theatre muses, but for a time also local footballers. They used the premises of the inn as changing rooms, from which they went straight to the pitch and back again after the match.
