Karel Zeman Museum, close to Charles Bridge in Prague, presents the complete works of the famed filmmaker and creator of special visual effects. In the museum you can see a unique and playful exhibition, which both children and adults can enjoy. The individual rooms of the museum are decorated like film studios with small stages, where visitors can create their own shots.
The museum charts the life and work of Karel Zeman from its beginnings - from the first animation and puppet films of the 40s, until his death. A large part of the museum is dedicated to the films Journey to the Beginning of Time, The Fabulous World of Jules Verne and The Fabulous Baron Munchausen.
Interactive tablet guides are available in English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese.
The museum offers a rich accompanying program - boat trips, animation workshops, creative design workshops or film trailers and seminars.
