1866 War Museum - Museum of the Austro-Prussian War in Chlum
The memorial area in Hradec Králové in East Bohemia commemorates the Battle of Chlum, which took place on 3 July 1866 and was the largest and bloodiest battle of the Austro-Prussian War. There are more than 400 headstones, monuments, crosses, individual and mass graves in the battlefield. The area also includes a war museum. The modern building of the 1866 War Museum is built as an annex to the original museum, and it completes the original 1866 Chlum Battle Monument. You can visit the exposition of historical technology and uniforms. The museum staff are also dressed in period uniforms.
