During the weekend before the last weekend in July a traditional town festival will take place in Bečov nad Teplou. Besides the historic marketplace a rich program consisting of music, theater and fencing performances as well as classical music concerts will also be prepared for visitors to the city. Living history enthusiasts can look forward to excellent swordsmen, dancers, musicians, jugglers and puppeteers. On stages at the town hall, at the castle and in the castle gardens there will perform musical groups, jugglers and dancers and of course puppet groups. Part of the historic weekend will be a period market with replicas of cool firearms, helmets and coats of arms, master blacksmiths, painted glass, ceramics, stained glass, clothing made from hand-woven fabrics, wooden accessories, hand-forged jewelry, leather products, Turkish honey, mead, candles from beeswax, gingerbread replicas of historic glass, traditional Czech costume jewelry, old Bohemian trdlo, baskets and other goods.
