Czech Republic ranked in the top ten of the world’s safest destinations!

The Czech Republic has been one of the safest countries in the world for a long time. In the Global Peace Index, which is compiled by an association of many organisations, experts and think thanks, the Czech Republic was ranked ninth between Ireland and Canada. In addition, anti-Covid measures have recently been cancelled, so travel is a bit more pleasant again!

The Czech Republic always ranks in the top twenty. This year it even went up to 9^th place! The characteristics making it one of the world’s most peaceful countries include a low crime rate, political stability, freedom of speech, quality education and social system, quality and safe public transport, observance of human rights and nearly non-existent tensions between economic classes. Those are the areas that the index focuses on. At the same time, the Czech Republic may boast the Safe Travels international stamp, and the status of a safe destination that is awarded by the World Travel & Tourism Council.
