Events, restaurants, and hotels almost without any restrictions
The Czech government has decided to gradually lift the measures in the coming weeks.
The capacity of group events will increase, people will no longer need the vaccination certificate or a medical confirmation of recovery from COVID-19 when visiting restaurants, hotels, spas, or ski resorts.
Tours of castles and chateaux open in winter
are also almost restriction-free. Only the
FFP2 face mask indoors remains required, i.e., in hotels, castles and chateaux, in shops or when on public transport. Also, people arriving to the Czech Republic must show their vaccination certificate or a confirmation of COVID-19 recovery, or a PCR test. The conditions differ by the country you are arriving from. Time to live, time to travel
We hope you haven’t lost the desire to travel and explore. We will be incredibly happy if your travel plans include a few pleasant days spent in the Czech Republic. Lifting the measures has opened the doors to places that have been closed, or remained open with restrictions, for a long time. Enjoy some culture in
museums and galleries, go to a concert in a
club, have some fun in
science centres and
zoological gardens, or just go out to a
restaurant for an excellent dinner in two. The conditions in the Czech Republic right now are ideal for
winter sports enthusiasts. Or come celebrate the
spring and get inspired by this year’s
tourist novelties! We look forward to seeing you!
