The MICHELIN Guide for Czechia
For the first time, the new MICHELIN Guide will present a nationwide selection of top restaurants across Czechia – beyond just Prague. This extraordinary selection will showcase the best gastronomic locales as well as the country's other draws worthy of discovery, allowing visitors and locals to really delve into the rich heritage and culture of this beautiful country.
The new MICHELIN Guide Czechia selection will be revealed later year 2025, featuring culinary gems from across the country. MICHELIN Guide anonymous Inspectors are scouring Czechia from north to south, from east to west, from the ski resorts to the wine regions, from Prague to Ostrava and Brno to Plzeň, to bring us the very best restaurants in Czechia for local and international gourmets to discover.
Gastronomy tourism Czechia: a rich and diverse food scene
Czechia is home to a rich and diverse food scene, blending traditional Czech flavors with influences from neighboring countries and international trends. The country’s cuisine is celebrated for its hearty dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, such as wild game meat, fresh fish from the rivers and lakes, as well as seasonal products like vegetables and berries, all complemented by world-famous Czech beers as well as great wines from innovative producers. An increasing number of chefs are now combining classical cooking with modern techniques, ensuring that the Czech food scene remains exciting and steadily evolving.
Prague already has Michelin stars
In 2024, two restaurants in the Czech Republic hold a Michelin star, both located in Prague. These are well-established establishments that successfully retained their Michelin in 2021 (The MICHELIN Guide Prague): La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise, led by chef Oldřich Sahajdák on Haštalská Street, and Field, located on U Milosrdných Street, led by chef Radek Kašpárek, the head judge of MasterChef Czech Republic.
Additionally, five restaurants have been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction: Dejvická 34, Divinis, Na Kopci and The Eatery. The fifth awarded establishment is Eska in Karlín, which later split into two venues: the smaller Eska and the new Štangl restaurant.

A total of twenty more restaurants in Czechia are included in the Michelin selection. Italian cuisine is represented by Aromi, Casa De Carli, CottoCrudo, and La Finestra. Those seeking traditional Czech cuisine can visit Bockem, Café Imperial, and Výčep. Michelin also recognized the steakhouse Monarch, while French and Mediterranean cuisine can be enjoyed at La Veranda and Pot au Feu. Restaurants focusing on modern gastronomy include Benjamin, Grand Cru, Kampa Park, Portfolio, Salabka, and V Zátiší. Completing the Czech selection are QQ Asian Kitchen, both specializing in Asian cuisine, and Yamato, a Japanese restaurant.
