Winter fun in the snow
Mosty u Jablunkova is located in the east of the Czech Republic, on the foothills of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids, not far from the town of Třinec, and is easily accessible by car, train and bus, as is the sports complex, which is situated around half a kilometre from the centre of the village.
In winter, the area is transformed into a classic winter resort, with all the standard facilities. There’s no shortage of snow, even though the resort is not at high altitude. The three pistes are covered with artificial snow and maintained every day, and floodlights permit evening skiing. Snowboarders have at their disposal a snow park, and there is also a ski school and services.
Lovers of cross-country skiing can enjoy the two-kilometre floodlit circuit, which is connected to over 40 km of maintained cross-country tracks in the surrounding area. Accommodation and refreshments are provided year-round by the stylish Grůň Hotel.
Enjoy Mosty in the summer!
Apart from the bobsled track, the summer also offers a number of adrenaline attractions, for example the Aerotrim gyroscope, rodeo, aquazorbing or the 232 m long Gorolszus rope swing. A rope-climbing centre is also available in Mosty for the more daring climbers, with areas for children and adults, as well as bungee trampolines and children’s trampolines, climbing-walls or steep downhill rides in mountain scooters.
Woodcarving competitions take place in Mosty every and give visitors the opportunity to see the works of skilled artists being created as they watch. Competitions have a different theme every year, and statues from previous competitions can even be purchased and taken home as a stylish souvenir from the Beskids!
