On skis or a snowboard
Do you prefer snowboarding? Then the Ještěd Sports Centre is an ideal destination. One of the hot new offerings is the snow park at Nové Pláně. You can test your skills here on 11 obstacle courses for beginners and advanced boarders. Thanks to excellent planning, the obstacle courses offer the perfect blend of adrenaline and safety and are the site for competitions and gatherings of snowboarding enthusiasts.
Excellent service for you and your children
You can make use of the equipment rental, ski and snowboard school, or specialists who will take care of your skis. If you are spending your winter holidays with children and they are not interested in skiing, you can use the services of the children’s play area. While you enjoy swift descents, experienced babysitters will keep them perfectly entertained directly on the slopes.
If you are an early riser, you will enjoy morning skiing on Ještěd. On the so-called Fresh Track, Saturday and Sunday skiing from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., you'll enjoy a perfect fresh corduroy and round off the experience with a rich breakfast buffet.
Where else to go?
You have given your body a nice workout, so how would you like to cap off your day? Why not go into nearby Liberec, which you can reach easily by tram? There you can explore the beautiful city hall, whose design was inspired by its more famous Viennese sister, or you can unwind at the Babylon wellness centre and aquapark! Be sure also to visit the world-famous Ještěd Hotel and transmission tower, which stands guard over the entire region. At first sight, it seems that an alien spaceship has landed on top of the highest peak in the range.
