The Ohře will take you to the historic Žatecwith the largest hops museum in the world, the unique Hops and Beer Temple, where you can hear the beer astronomical clock chime and take a ride in a magical elevator that transforms into the basket of a balloon, flying high above the town. Then, Louny awaits you, the Ohře’s lunar pearl with its fascinating roofs of the Gothic Cathedral of St. Nicholas and a mighty Žatec gate gripping the horseshoe of the town walls. You can head off in any direction from the river bed to discover amazing things – the largest château park in the country, which surrounds the Krásný Dvůr château, the frightful dragon sleeping in a mine adit in Březno, the radiant châteaux in Stekník, Líčkov or Nový Hrad, and finally the mysterious and magic energy of the unfinished Gothic cathedral in Panenský Týnec.
