Many people come to Teplice just to keep fit. The Beethoven Spa House, the foundations of which are the oldest preserved spa building in Central Europe, you’ll find everything you need for an active break. Filling the entire inner courtyard is the Thermalium, a unique complex of thermal pools filled with water from the Pravřídlo spring, which has the power to heal pain.
All about the local wellness
Stays at the Teplice Spa, with accommodation from 2 to 4 nights and half board, include daily admission to the Thermalium complex and one session of Teplice’s famous combination: a warm-up in a thermal bath followed by a hand massage. On top of that, there’s a fitness centre, a salt cave (1 stay in a salt cave works out as 3 days by the sea) and a voucher for the Café Restaurant Beethoven. Meals during the stay are served buffet style. There is a Day Bar with a view of Lázeňská street.During your stay you can book a number of massages and hydrotherapy treatments, from honey detox to Ayurvedic. All the treatments are also available at the weekend.
Where to go for sports?
For bikers there are hundreds of kilometres of trails with unique views in the Ore Mountains, the Central Bohemian Highlands and along the Elbe. There is a place to store bikes and e-bikes free of charge just a short distance from the Beethoven Spa House. Nearby, there are a number of natural pools for outdoor swimming: the Lake Barbora with excellent quality water and two sandy beaches (15 minutes from the spa by car), Lake Milada (less than 20 minutes’ drive from the spa), and Cínovecký pond for a more intimate swim (also less than 20 minutes’ drive from the spa).In nearby Cínovec there’s a golf course for beginners and pros with gorgeous views into the valley.
