As early as 1553 the lord of the local estate had a stone reservoir created, into which pipes diverted the most reliable mineral springs from the surrounding area. This mineral-rich water containing amounts of carbon dioxide is used today to treat issues with the circulatory system, cardiovascular disease, metabolism problems and muscular-skeletal complaints. Children are also brought here to treat diseases of the skin.
