Turold Cave
An underground walk on the bottom of a prehistoric sea
Discover the underground world of the Turold Cave, located on the outskirts of Mikulov. Instead of stalactites, this cave is adorned with the unique “Turold decoration” – shapes that recall coral reefs and evoke the feeling of strolling along the bottom of a Jurassic sea.
The Turold Cave together with the Fox Hole Cave offer a 2.5-kilometre labyrinth of corridors. Here you can see the Lake Dome with an emerald coloured body of water. You can also marvel at the forms decorating the cave, reminiscent of “stone foam” and creating the impression of a coral reef.

Kateřinská Cave (Catherine Cave )
Kateřinská (Catherine) Cave is located in the heart of the Moravian Karst just a ways from Rock Mill and the Punkevní caves. The tour lasts approximately half an hour and takes you through two large domes and corridors. The most beautiful parts of Kateřinská Cave are the colorful illuminated formations of Witch and the Bamboo Grove, a group of extremely thin and several meter-high stick-like stalagmites. Thanks to its excellent acoustics, concerts are regularly held in the 95 meter-long and 44 meter-wide main dome.
