The church with a glass roof in Neratov
Neratov is a small village near the Polish border in Divoké Orlice Valley. The tradition of a pilgrimage associated with a miraculous statue of the Virgin Mary was born there in the Middle Ages. Fire broke out in the Baroque Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary at the end of the Second World War and it survived only because there was not enough money to demolish it. This area with a unique atmosphere has been gradually restored. The overall impression is enhanced by both the spectacular glass roof, seen nowhere else in the Czech Republic, and the colorful spiritual program and renewed traditional fairs.
