Libouchec Château in the Ústí nad Labem region in north Bohemia is a valuable example of a Renaissance farmstead with a residential château section.
The ideal venue for a glorious wedding ceremony lies between the slopes of the eastern Ore Mountains, the Central Bohemian Highlands and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. It is about 11 km to the north of the centre of the regional capital of Ústí nad Labem and around 2.5 km from the D8 Motorway. The building is a valuable example of a Renaissance farmstead with a residential château section. Saxon knight Günter von Bünau had it built in the Saxon Renaissance style. Libouchec only was only later given its Czech name after the local brook.
The newly built formal areas, which provide an insight into almost-forgotten historic traditions of gamekeeping, hunting and the everyday customs of our ancestors, are an ideal place for wedding ceremonies as well as other social events.
