The Baroque Adršpach Château can be found in a village of the same name. It was founded as a fortress by the Berkas of Dubé in the 15th century. You can find the very first rock-climbing museum in the Czech Republic there.
The exposition introduces sandstone rock climbing, which is inherent to the Adršpach-Teplice massif. There are photographs, historic documents and gear for climbing sandstone rocks on display there. You can see the development of safety methods, tools, harnesses and shoes. The whole exposition was prepared in cooperation with local rock climbers and the Czech Mountaineering Association. There are also exhibitions organised in the château, where you will also find an exposition on flax cultivation.
