If you want to learn more about the area’s traditional industry, be sure to pay a visit to Jablonec nad Nisou, a town still heavily involved in the proud tradition of glass and costume jewellery production, with products from here sold across the globe.

The most beautiful examples of Jablonec costume jewellery can be found in the local museum. The collections are so comprehensive that three buildings are needed to house them. Exhibitions of glass, medals, pearls, buttons and other accessories are gathered together in a wonderful Art Nouveau building just outside the town centre.
