Christmas Markets and Advent in Ostrava

The Main Stage with concerts, carol singing, and dulcimer music is situated right on the main square near the Christmas Ferris wheel and stalls with traditional goodies, without which Czech Christmas could simply not exist. The youngest visitors will especially enjoy the Children's Stage or the Christmas ice rink. The Art Stage on the wonderfully decorated square under the highest city hall tower in the Czech Republic (the view from its top will take your breath away!), or the Craft Stage with examples of traditional crafts will not be missed either.

You will experience a completely different, no less impressive atmosphere in the world-unique industrial area of ​​Dolní Vítkovice, where you will feel as if you appeared in a Jules Verne’s novel. Here you will be able to admire Christmas Ostrava from the top of the Bolt Tower lookout, which was placed on the top of a blast furnace.
