The Summer Baroque Festival promises unique adventures in the interesting Baroque settings of the Plzeň Region. The festival is a part of the ‘West Bohemian Baroque’ project. The festivities and events take place at major Baroque sites in West Bohemia (Mariánská Týnice, Klatovy, Zelená Hora, Tachov, Kladruby, Plasy, Hrádek u Sušice, Manětín). Each venue prepares a rich programme for visitors, such as Baroque music, theatre, fireworks and processions, dances, samples of period perfumes, fashion, and food, so visitors can revisit the Baroque era with all their senses. There will also be local concerts, Baroque-style festivals, pilgrim’s masses, exhibitions, and other interesting events.
