The personality of Charles IV and his achievements inspired many Czech writers, poets, historians and linguists. Their works will be exposed at the occasion of the 700th Anniversary of Charles IV at the Museum of Czech Literature at the Strahov Monastery, along with other documents, such as photographs, prints and paintings from the Museum’s collections, illustrating the life of Charles IV and reflecting his role in the history of the Czech Lands.
The visit to the exhibition at the Museum of Czech Literature can be combined with a walk to the nearby Prague Castle or the Petřín lookout tower.
