CzechTourism with the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic and UNWTO would like to invite you to attend the conference Destination Branding 2016. The aim of the conference is to show the different approaches to building and measuring brands. A special focus will be given to China as one of the most important source markets.
Along with the City of Prague, we are pleased to invite you on the Welcome reception after the conference. The Welcome reception will take place at the Residence of the Mayor of Prague (Marianske namesti 1, Prague 1) from 7 p.m.

The Conference will be held in the Chamber of Deputies, this building is located in the area between the Lesser and Wallenstein Square, around the Sněmovní and Thunovská street. The entrance to the Parliament is from Sněmovní Street.
The Chamber of Deputies is reached very easily.
By tram:
The Lesser Town Square is accessible by tram (tram lines 12, 20 and 22 - Malostranské náměstí tram stop).
By metro:
The nearest metro station is "Malostranská" on metro line A, a short walking distance away.

Marketing a communication professional manages the international advertising Award PIAF for 7 consecutive years. Hlavica started as a journalist. He worked at numerous corporations such as Citibank, Philip Morris, Plzeňský Prazdroj, ČEZ in the position of Communication Manger over the last 20 years. He lead the PR agency Impact (Pleon Impact) in 1996 -2000. As the independent consultant Hlavica provides stregic communication consultancy for both corporate clients and institutions. Since the beginning of this year he has worked as a Managing Director of AKA (Communication agencies association).
Ellen Böhling
Ellen is managing partner at TIRC Network, a globally operating group of experts who have specialized in tourism research and destination analysis. She started her professional career as a research assistant and consultant at the Institute for Management and Tourism (IMT) of the West Coast University of Applied Sciences in Heide. From 2007 to 2014, she lived and worked in Salta / Argentina. She is founder and managing partner of the IMT Instituto de Management y Turismo in Salta / Argentina. Back in Germany, together with Prof. Dr. Bernd Eisenstein and Ralf Trimborn, she founded the TIRC Network GmbH in March 2015. Her research interests are strategic tourism management in general, strategic destination management and branding, strategic marketing and sales management in tourism.
Miguel Gallego
Miguel Gallego has a ten-year experience in destination marketing. Having worked in different levels of tourism administrations, from city tourism boards to regional and national tourism organisations, since 2012 he is Head of Marketing and Communication at the European Travel Commission (Brussels, Belgium), where he coordinates its marketing activities and supports member NTOs’ efforts to promote Destination Europe on major long-haul markets. He has also contributed to several publications and research papers on destination marketing and tourism development.
Sam Woolard
Sam Woollard, Client Development Director of Added Value China (Part of WPP), is an entrepreneurial, strategic thinker with over 15 years work experience in Asia (12 years based in China) and a strong background in B2B & B2C marketing. He heads the client development strategy working closely with international brands in China and Asia across the FMCG, retail, luxury, travel, automotive and financial services industries, assisting clients with digital, social, branding, qualitative and quantitative research and strategic consultancy work. Sam is a regular speaker at international conferences in Asia and China providing valuable insights on specialist topics including the China digital landscape, mobile marketing, tourism marketing, online marketing strategies (digital/web/social/mobile), cultural strategy (semiotics), branding and innovation.
Gao Dakun
Co-founder of Nubia brand, Assistant President, Secretary of Nubia public welfare fund. Graduated from Harbin Industry University where he obtained Master of Communication Engineering degree. In 2002 he joined ZTE company and worked as overseas project manager, marketing manager, regional manager, GM of overseas market successively. In the year 2012 jointly established the high-end smart phone brand Nubia together with other co-founders.
Filip Gregor
Career marketer with 8 years of extensive consulting experience, specializing in digital communication, across disciplines like strategic marketing, social media communication, audience engagement, community management, measurement and digital advertising
