The French Film Festival was founded in 1996 at the initiative of the French Embassy and organization Unifrance, which promotes the spread of French cinema abroad. This 17th festival will include both movies that have won the most prestigious awards and short films of talented emerging artists and documentaries. Each year, the program also offers previews of new films that will appear in Czech cinemas.
