Epic blockbusters, independent films, recognizable names of directors and distinctive debuts – Das FILMFEST Festival draws them in year after year to the best of contemporary cinema in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The festival is traditionally co-organized by the Goethe-Institut, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Prague, and the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in Prague in cooperation with the Prague cinemas Lucerna and Atlas and the Art cinema in Brno.
