The toughest race on the planet, the classic cross-country skiing Red Bull Nordix, is one of the best winter events in the Czech mountains. It is a combination of classical sprint skiing, downhill and skicross races. Four skiers compete at once on a 500 meter long track at breathtaking speeds and they must deal with a number of undulations and banked corners while jostling with rivals. After qualifications, more adventurous visitors can try the track for themselves, and the traditional afterparty is held after the end of the races with lots of good drink and music.
