The Vysočina Arena in Nové Město na Moravě is not only known for cross-country skiing, but also biathlon and MTB. The most important cross-country skiing and biathlon competitions take place there.

Amidst the forests and meadows, the nature of the Ore Mountains (Krušné hory) unfolds a long-distance cross-country skiing trail called the 'Krušnohorská magistrála.' It consists of three separate sections, and when connected with interlinked networks of groomed tracks, it forms a cross-country skiing paradise with over 300 km of trails.

The Zadov Ski Resort is the gateway to the Šumava National Park.
