Rudolf II and the masters of graphic art
Several tens of art prints and books are on display in Kinský Palace on the Old Town Square in Prague. The authors of these works are eminent artists from the time of Emperor Rudolf, who were attracted by the brilliance and renown of the imperial court at Prague Castle. The exhibition commemorates the four hundredth anniversary in January of the death of Emperor Rudolf II, patron of the sciences and arts, under whose patronage several fields boomed, these including graphic arts.
